2. Data collected

Name, email, phone, and country when you place an order or contact us. Source document content when submitted for translation. Technical data through cookies and analytics.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to deliver translation services, respond to enquiries, and meet legal obligations. Basis: contract performance and legitimate interest.

4. Retention

Order and project data retained 5 years after project completion. Contact enquiries 2 years. Source documents are deleted within 30 days of project delivery unless a retainer arrangement specifies otherwise.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data by contacting hello@nova-translations.com. Complaints may be directed to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

6. Third parties

Stripe processes payment data as an independent controller. Freelance linguists receive source documents under confidentiality agreements for the purpose of delivering the translation.
